We at Gilpin Rifles, Inc. encourage organized rifle and pistol shooting among the residents of our community.  We strive to provide a better knowledge of firearms including safe handling and proper care as well as improved marksmanship.  Furthermore our objective and purpose is to forward the development of such characteristics as honesty, good fellowship, self-discipline, team play, and self-reliance.  We feel these are the essentials of good sportsmanship and the foundation of true patriotism.
